Recovery time denotes the time required for the GSH/GSSG to return to its initial value after perturbation, and amount of change is calculated by (2) in the text. Note that a few patients exhibiting abnormal recovery time (>30 min, 0.4% the of original number of patients) have been eliminated from the plot. The data displayed here were obtained from a single simulation run, which was representative of 15 simulation runs.
