Plastic dish-nonadherent BMC from BN recipients after LEW bone marrow (2.5×108), liver, or heart transplantation were cultured in the fibrin clot culture system (5×105 cells/plate, 10 plates/each experiment). After culturing for 6 days, established CFU-C were in situ stained with mAb L21–6 (LEW MHC class II), and the number of CFU-C composed of strongly stained cells was counted.
