Cell specificity. To study cell specificity, the Ad5/CMV-DMP1 (sense) and Ad5/CMV-lacZ adenoviruses were used. Different cell lines were infected with adenovirus for 3 h, and fresh medium was then added. Total RNA was isolated (after 24 h), and RT-PCR performed as described in Materials and Methods.
