Strains identified to be resistant to fluconazole with preliminary characterization on resistance mechanisms are identified with asterisks (see Discussion). These strains have been provided by the National Reference Center for Systemic Mycoses, as have strains 10, 84 to 96, and 109 to 121. All other strains were provided by the strain collection of the Interfaculty Institute of Microbiology and Infection Medicine, University of Tübingen.
