Anti-porcine antibody titration. Serum, fecal resuspension, and intestine wash samples (1:100 dilution) from gnotobiotic piglets immunized intramuscularly with the FaeG-FedF-LT192A2:B fusion protein were titrated for anti-K88, anti-F18, and anti-LT antibodies in ELISAs using purified K88ac fimbriae, F18 fimbriae, and LTB (Sigma) as the coating antigens. HRP-conjugated goat anti-porcine IgG (1:2,500) and IgA (1:2,500) were used as the secondary antibodies. Serum, fecal resuspension, and intestine wash samples collected from piglets of the control group were also titrated. Antibody titers are expressed at a log10 scale.
