Protein expression from transfected cells. 293T cells were transfected with the proviral clones indicated, and cell lysates and viral supernatants were harvested 48 h posttransfection. Protein expression and processing was examined by Western blot analysis using an HIV-1-positive human serum sample and a mouse MAb (13D5) specific for the HIV-1 Env protein (31).
