PEPD mutant channels exhibit differentially enhanced resurgent currents. A, I/V family traces (left column) and resurgent protocol traces recorded in the presence (middle column) and absence (right column) of Navβ4 peptide from representative HEK293 cells expressing either Nav1.7 WT or mutant channels. For the I/V traces, cells were held at −80 mV, and currents were elicited with 50-ms test pulses to potentials ranging from −80 to +60 mV.
