Charge dependence of electrostatic free energy ratios for I=0.03M. Results are obtained using the ACG scheme and the 1D finite element solution for the case of a spherical cavity with centrally located charge. The plotted electrostatic free energies, ΔGf=Gf−Gf(lin.)), GNa and ΔΠNa, are normalized by the fixed charge energy obtained from the linear PBE, Gf(lin.). In this case this equals the reaction field energy, Grf, since the Coulombic energy is zero.
