The overall and frequency-by-frequency equivalent SPLs (L_eq) and kurtosis of the 23 noises used to expose chinchillas. Frequency-by-frequency L_eq is calculated for a full-octave component at 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 kHz center frequencies. The kurtosis value is calculated from the pressure time history of the noise. $PT{S}_{5124}=\frac{1}{4}(PT{S}_5+PT{S}_1+PT{S}_2+PT{S}_4),$ where PTS₅, PTS₁, PTS₂, PTS₄ are the average of the PTS of the chinchillas in the group measured at 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 kHz.
