Kinetics of caspase-3/7, -8, and -9 activation in response to compound 3h. A) HL-60 and B) U937 cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of compound 3h and harvested at 24 h. Cell lysates were assayed for caspase-3/7, -8, and -9 activities using the DEVD-pNA, IETD-pNA, and LEHD-pNA colorimetric substrates, respectively. Results are expressed as fold increase in caspase activity relative to control. Values represent the mean ±S.E.; this histogram is representative of two independent experiments, each performed in triplicate.
