Reactivation of luciferase activity. Heat-denatured luciferase was added to reaction mixtures containing AtClpC2 (■), AtClpD (●) or without additional proteins (▾). The mixtures were incubated at 30 °C, and aliquots were taken for luciferase activity measurements at the indicated time points. The results are expressed as a percent of native luciferase activity (100%) incubated at 30 °C for the same time as the experimental point. Data points represent the mean of triplicate experiments, and bars show the standard error.
