Effects of NBO on MCAO-induced brain damage and behavioral motor deficits. (A) NBO-treated rats (n = 9) had greater total and striatal damage, and showed a trend toward an increase in cortical brain damage, as compared with MCAO control rats treated with medical air (n = 10).
