Binding of miR-203 to SOCS3 3′ UTR binding site. HTR8 cells were transfected with luciferase reporter vector pSGG-SOCS3 3′UTR, an empty vector (pSGG-EMPTY-3UTR), or a vector containing the 3′ UTR region of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (pSGG-GAPDH-3UTR). Reporter vectors were cotransfected with a miR-203 mimic or unrelated negative-control miR mimic (miR-146b). Following 24 h of incubation, luciferase activity was measured.
