Contribution to ΔE_m was obtained as [influence of PsaA on E_m(P_A)] + [influence of PsaB on E_m(P_A)] – [influence of PsaA on E_m(P_B)] – [influence of PsaB on E_m(P_B)]. PsaA/PsaB residue pairs in each line were generated from the protein sequence alignment performed with the CLUSTAL program (31) (Fig. 4).
