Blood glucose levels and insulin release after glucose challenge. Oral glucose tolerance tests were performed at 6 months (A and C) and 12 months (B and D) of cranberry treatment, respectively. After overnight fasting, D-glucose (2 g/kg body weight) was administrated orally. Blood samples were taken from snipped tail at different time points during Oral Glucose Tolerance Test for measurement of blood glucose (A and B) and plasma insulin (C and D).
