PDGF induces SSH1L serine dephosphorylation of 14-3-3 binding motifs in wt but not in Nox1−/y cells. Both wt and Nox1−/y VSMCs were incubated with either vehicle or PDGF (10 ng/ml for 15 min). After immunoprecipitation of SSH1L, the membrane was immunoblotted for the phosphor-Ser 14-3-3 binding motif. Bars represent mean ± S.E. of four independent experiments.
