Hematology data from marmosets experimentally inoculated with filoviruses. Animals infected with both Ebolavirus (top left) and Marburgvirus (top right) developed neutrophilia with a concomitant decrease in lymphocytes. Total white blood counts (bottom left) increased during the course of infection while thrombocytopenia (bottom right) developed. Because of the limited samples size, data points are represented as geometrical means of data corresponding to timepoint regardless of virus dose.
