To determine the ability of Ph-ORN to code the temporal pattern of pulsed stimulus we calculated the contrast in dB between minimum and maximum firing rates as Cā€Š=ā€Š20 * log10 (max/min) at 1, 4 and 10 pps (same data as in Figure3). Mean contrast for individual peaks of responses to pheromone pulses in linalool (black bars) or neutral (grey bars). Error bars: SEM.
