Compounds 3 and 5 reduced immobility in the forced swim test in mice at the medium and highest dose tested. Compound 4 showed an insignificant trend at the highest dose only. The SSRI sertraline, produced the expected decrease in immobility. (ANOVAs: F (11,108) = 6.9, p < 0.001. *Fisher’s PLSD post-hoc test: ps < 0.05 vs vehicle).
