AUP1 is involved in the accumulation of lipid droplets. A, HeLa cells were transduced with the shRNA constructs used in Fig. 1. Three days post-transduction, cells were left untreated or incubated with 0.4 mm oleic acid for 16 h. Lipid droplets were stained with BODIPY 493/503, and the amount of cellular fluorescence was determined by flow cytometry.
