Inhibition of glucanase activity by antisera produced against AFPs. Glucanase activity was assayed in nonacclimated (NA) and cold-acclimated (CA) apoplastic extracts and in cold-acclimated extracts incubated with antisera produced against cold-induced GLP (G), CLP (C), and TLP (T), or with preimmune serum (P). The glucanase specific activity was normalized as a percentage of the specific activity present in the cold-acclimated apoplastic extract and is shown as the mean ± se (n = 3).
