The population is allowed to persist and self-regulate for 800 days, at which time Wolbachia is introduced to the population as gravid, bloodfed females at the rate defined in Table 1. The population is then allowed to self-regulate and persist until 1800 days have elapsed. b) The proportion of the female population that is infected with Wolbachia over time (i.e., infection frequency), demonstrating a population replacement event.
