In the positive control (set to 100%), cells were heat-inactivated at 95 °C for 20 min. In each case, cells were incubated in the presence of 12 µg of the indicated RTA variant for 24 h (mean average of five independent experiments; standard deviation (red bar) and p-values (*p< 0.05, **p< 0.01) are indicated).
