Abbreviations: CI, confidence interval; DIC, deviance information criterion; HR, hazard ratio; IqHR, interquartile hazard ratio; NIH, National Institutes of Health; MHR, median hazard ratio.
Model 1 was adjusted for age and sex; model 2 was adjusted for demographic factors (age, sex, race, education, and marital status); model 3 was adjusted for cancer characteristics (colorectal cancer site, stage, and grade) and the factors in model 2; model 4 was adjusted for body mass index, comorbidity, and the factors in model 3; model 5 was adjusted for physical activity, smoking, alcohol drinking, and the factors in model 4; model 6 was adjusted for Mediterranean dietary pattern score and the factors in model 5; and model 7 was adjusted for self-rated health conditions and the factors in model 6.
The DIC reflects the goodness of fit of the Bayesian models.
