Levels and redox status of plastoquinone (A) and phylloquinone (B) in wild-type (Col-0) Arabidopsis leaf tissues and dissected green and white leaf sectors of the corresponding msh1 mutant. Tissues were sampled and extracted in the dark to avoid photoreduction and photodegradation of quinone species. Values above the bars indicate the quinone/quinol ratios.
