Transgenes were introduced to MSH1/msh1 heterozygous plants, with normal (χ² 1:2:1, 3:1) Mendelian segregation (MM, Mm, mm) of the resulting populations. T2 populations display cosegregation for the transgene (T) and complemented phenotype.
