Northern analysis of Arabidopsis mRNA of etiolated and green seedlings. mRNA (2 μg) from 15-d-old etiolated seedlings and 10-d-old green seedlings were submitted to northern analyses as described in Methods. The blot was then subjected to hybridization with a ³²P-labeled cDNA probe coding for 4HPPD, and submitted to autoradiography for 1 week (A). The northern blot was then dehybridized, and rehybridized with a ³²P-labeled cDNA probe of the constitutively expressed gene of the translation initiation factor NelF-4A10 (Mandel et al., 1995), and submitted to autoradiography for 24 h (B).
