F-D curves were recorded in buffer condition (400 mM KCl, 100 mM NaCl, 5 mM betaine, 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5) at a pulling velocity of 100 nm/s. fp were marked with p-values of < 0.1 (*), < 0.05 (**), and < 0.01 (***) from T-student tests that show which of the fp changes compared to WT BetP (Fig. 1) were significant.
