Levels of IL-4 produced by T cells response to PHA increased markedly after burn injury, whereas levels of IFN-γ decreased markedly as compared with normal control group, and there were obvious differences between group I and group III, indicating that Th cells might have shifted to Th2 cells (as shown in Fig. 4A and 4B).
