Effect of n-frutalin and r-frutalin on HeLa cells viability. Merged fluorescence photographs for the viability evaluation of HeLa cells cultured for 24 and 48 h in the presence of n-frutalin and r-frutalin (both at 100 μg/mL) using the LIVE/DEAD Viability/Cytotoxicity Kit for mammalian cells are shown. In the control, cells were incubated with PBS buffer instead of the lectins. Live cells are stained in green, and dead cells are stained in red.
