Purification of BCG hydrolase from mouse testis on Q-Sepharose. BCG hydrolase was purified from a mouse testes membrane extract solubilized with Triton X-100 and was chromatographed on DEAE-Sepharose (not shown) and Q-Sepharose (this figure). Proteins were eluted in a NaCl gradient and BCG hydrolase and NAAG hydrolase activities were measured in the presence of 1 mm Mn2+.
