Actively growing BCBL-1 cells were subjected to centrifugal elutriation to get pure populations of G1/S and G2/M phase cells. ChIP was performed as described in the methods using anti-ORC2 and anti-MCM-3 antibodies. Purified DNA was used as template for the amplification of KSHV genome at every 1–2 kb. Relative amplification was calculated by subtracting the amplification with the control antibodies.
