Effect of isotopic dilution by (R) and (S) isomers upon (E)-2,3 eicosanoyl-CoA synthesis. To the standard reaction mixture (20 μg of protein, 11 μm [1-¹⁴C]3-OH C20:0-CoA) unlabeled (R)- or (S)-3-OH C20:0-CoA was added in the indicated concentrations. The reaction was run for 20 min at 30°C and the products were separated by TLC as indicated in “Materials and Methods.
