Pretreatment of rats with U0126 prevented leptin-induced phosphorylation of ERK1/2 without affecting STAT3 phosphorylation. Treatment groups include: vehicle^ICV/vehicle^VTA (open bars; n = 5), U0126^ICV/vehicle^VTA (open-striped bars; n = 4), vehicle^ICV/Leptin^VTA (gray bars; n = 4), U0126^ICV/Leptin^VTA (gray-striped bars; n = 4).
