Figure 3. — The signal transducer and activator of transcription Stat5a coprecipitates ErbB4. Interactions of the ErbB4 intracellular domain (4ICD) with Stat5a were studied in wild-type Type II cells isolated from HER4^heart (+/+) animals, using coimmunoprecipitation conditions. Representative blots were probed with ErbB4 (upper and middle blots) and Stat5a (lower blots) antibodies. (A) Stat5a coimmunoprecipitates the ErbB4 intracellular domain (4ICD) in fetal Type II cells under control conditions (C) and after stimulation with fibroblast-conditioned medium (FCM) . (B) The IgG control immunoprecipitation (IP) confirms antibody specificity.
