Recognition of evaluated antigens by sera from T. cruzi- and Leishmania-infected individuals. Reactivities of sera collected from individuals infected with T. cruzi (Chagasic [Ch]) (n = 237) or Leishmania spp. (n = 60) and from healthy individuals (NHS) (n = 200) to the indicated T. cruzi-derived antigens were determined by CL-ELISA. Results are presented by box-and-whisker plots, indicating the median serum titer (horizontal line inside box), SD (box's upper and lower lines), and maximal and minimal serum titers (whiskers). The serological titer for each sample was determined as described in Materials and Methods. Sera from Leishmania-infected individuals were grouped according to the manifestation of the disease.
