Identification of an interaction between pUL25 and pUL31. (A) Coimmunoprecipitation of myc-pUL25 and GFP-pUL31 constructs. HEK-293 cells were transfected to transiently express myc-pUL25 and either GFP alone, GFP fused to full-length UL31, or GFP fused to individual conserved regions of UL31 (CR1 to CR4). Cells were lysed at 72 h posttransfection and probed with an anti-GFP antibody (top) or immunoprecipitated (IP) with an antibody directed against GFP and probed with an anti-myc antibody to detect pUL25 (bottom).
