Localization of L2 in transfected cells. HeLa cells were transfected with a plasmid expressing L2-HA regulated by the cytomegalovirus early promoter (A and C) or with the transfection reagent (B and D), fixed and permeabilized with Triton X-100, and stained with mouse anti-HA MAb to detect L2 and rabbit anti-calnexin (A and B) or ERGIC-53 (C and D) antibodies, followed by goat anti-mouse IgG coupled to Alexa Fluor 488 and goat anti-rabbit IgG coupled to Alexa Fluor 594 and DAPI.
