1) Number of genes regulated by pollen feeding in bees parasitized (Varroa +) or not by varroa (Varroa -). 2) Number of genes regulated by varroa parasitism in bees fed with (Pollen +) or without pollen (Pollen -). ↑ and ↓ indicate genes that are up- or downregulated. Chi-square tests with Yates correction were performed to determine whether overlapping genes follow the same pattern of expression between the two conditions.
