Determination of rtxC gene expression by RT-PCR. RNA was isolated from the rtxC-disrupted mutant ΔrtxC complemented with pLAFRSS-PaphrtxC (lanes 1 and 4), pLAFRSS-rtxC (lanes 2 and 5), or pLAFRSS (lanes 3 and 6).
