Antiviral effect of N7-oxanonyl-6deoxy-DGJ on the replication of ncp BVDV persistently infecting an MDBK cell line. Viral RNA levels present in culture supernatants after either no treatment or treatment with various concentrations of N7-oxanonyl-6deoxy-DGJ was measured by RT-PCR analysis over several passages (passage numbers indicated on the top of the gels); 20% of the RT-PCR product was loaded and run on a 2% agarose gel stained with ethidium bromide.
