TCI enhances clearance of vaginal C. muridarum. Vaginal swabs were collected at 3-day intervals from immunized and control mice following intravaginal challenge with C. muridarum. DNA was extracted from vaginal swabs, and relative levels of Chlamydia DNA were determined by real-time PCR. The significance of differences in the rates of clearance of C. muridarum between immunized (dark bars) and control (light bars) mice was determined using Kaplan-Meier survival curves and the log rank test. Results are representative of three separate experiments. Error bars, standard deviations.
