Columns show average of induction ratios for two independent RNA samples isolated from MG1655 cells left untreated or exposed to 0.1 or 1 mM concentrations of GSNO or NaNO2 for 5 min. For all induction ratios ≥2, the P values are <0.05. The norVW and nrdHI genes, which are contained within operons, are grouped together. For most genes within operons, all genes show induction, though the induction ratios decrease for the downstream genes.
