Upregulation of mRNA for CXCL12 and CXCR4 on Day 35 compared to Day 50 of pregnancy in cotyledon (Cot), caruncle (Car) and intercaruncle (Intercar) tissue. CXCL12 (A) was significantly (P < 0.05) greater in cotyledon tissue on Day 35 compared to Day 50 of gestation. CXCR4 (B) was significantly (P < 0.05) elevated in caruncle and intercaruncle tissue on Day 35 compared to Day 50 of pregnancy. Data represent 2^-ΔCtvalues, where ΔCt indicates GAPDH normalized Ct values. Data represent the mean ± SEM.
