AGS cells were transfected with either a wild type p27-YFP fusion protein or with specific YFP-p27 mutants as indicated. The distribution of the p27-YFP fusion proteins in AGS cells was investigated by confocal immunofluorescent microscopy after H. pylori infection (Hp+) and in uninfected (Hp−) cells as controls.
