Prolactin concentrations in Polish Breast Cancer Study control subjects ranged from 2.1 to 348.4 ng/mL, and the majority were less than 50 ng/mL. The unadjusted geometric mean (interquartile range) prolactin concentrations were 10.89 ng/mL (7.80 to 15.30) in premenopausal controls and 6.99 ng/mL (5.30 to 8.60) in postmenopausal controls.
