Mitochondrial respiratory capacity and coupling efficiency in stable INS1E clones. Cells were cultured overnight at 2.8 mm glucose before analyses. Cells were placed into an oxymeter chamber and stabilized for at least 10 min. O₂ consumption was measured at 2.8 and 16.7 mm glucose by raising the glucose concentration directly in the oxymeter chamber without any drugs.
