A VWLL motif in the cytoplasmic tail of F513SfsX113 UCE accounts for the rapid degradation. HeLa cells were transfected with mutant UCE constructs containing an HA tag at the C terminus. After 24 h, the transfected cells were treated with 120 μg/ml CHX for 3 h, and then cell lysates were subjected to SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting with monoclonal anti-HA Ab.
