ABA content in tomato plants. Wild-type (MM) and ABA- deficient (notabilis, flacca, and sitiens) mutant tomato plants were wounded or treated with electrical current or heat. Both directly treated (local) and nontreated distal leaves (systemic) were harvested after 6 h.
