The plants were grown under a PPFD of either 100 (•, ▪) or 350 (○, □) μmol m⁻² s⁻¹. CO₂ assimilation was conducted under various PPFD regimes at 25°C, an O₂ partial pressure of 20 kPa, and a CO₂ partial pressure of either 31 Pa (○, •) or 80 Pa (□, ▪). Symbols represent means of measurements of two plants. No experiments were conducted with low-light-grown TL25. sd values are omitted for clarity. The average sd was 0.6 μmol m⁻² s⁻¹.
